Timeline
Prior to January 31st:
- Schedule a campus tour/interview
- Sign up for the SSAT test
Prior to February 1st:
- Have Interview
Complete and send your:
- Application
- Parent Statement
- Three Recommendations
- School Transcripts
- Standardized Test Scores
March 10th:
- Acceptance letters are mailed to students whose files are completed by February 1st
- Financial Aid awards are mailed to students whose financial aid is completed by February 1st
April 10th:
- Enrollment decisions are due
Rolling Admissions:
Students submitting application materials after March 10th will be considered on a rolling basis, as space allows.
A complete application includes the following:
- Application & Recommendations
- Transcript, other school records, all past testing
- SSAT results - international students must submit results from an English Proficiency test
- $30 application fee for domestic students, $60 application fee for international students
- Campus visit and interview (international students may ask for a telephone interview)

Note to parents:
Please sign the recommendation forms prior to giving them, as well as the stamped envelopes addressed to Gould Academy, to the math and English teachers. Teachers should send the recommendation directly to Gould Academy, but keep a copy of the recommendation on file.
The signed Head/Principal/Counselor Recommendation is also a record release so please ask the school to send a copy of the applicant's transcript and any testing they have on file. |
