Gould Alumni Weekend June 3-5, 2022

It has been too long - nearly three years to be exact - since Gould Alumni have gathered to celebrate a reunion.  We are all very excited to welcome many familiar faces back to campus and especially looking forward to bringing multiple classes together to celebrate reunion years as clusters.

Weekend Highlights


  • Introducing Gould’s, Head of School, Tao Smith ’90, P’23 to Gould Alumni
  • Special pricing for full weekend registration, day-only tickets, and Young Alumni Classes.
  • Lodging is available in Gould Dorms! (first come, first serve!) 
  • 50th Reunion Classes - ’70, ’71, ’72—Don't miss the Friday evening cocktail party
  • Alumni of Color Reception on Friday evening 

FRIDAY, JUNE 3

  • 4:00 - 6:00 pm - Registration | Ordway Patio
  • 5:30 - 6:30 pm - 50th Reunion Cocktail Party - Special event for the class years of 1970, 1971, and 1972 | Sanborn Family Library
  • 5:30 - 6:30 pm - Alumni of Color Reception hosted by Stephanie Williams-Montgomery P'00 T'10-'19 | Ordway Living Room
  • Evening - Class Cluster Gatherings/Socials
    Classes are encouraged to schedule their own gathering. Class Coordinators are available to help plan and organize events. See the list of Coordinators here. Gould staff is able to assist with planning, as needed.

  • 2:30 - 3:45 pm - Honored Guest Reception | Library

Memory Lane

Be sure to visit "Memory Lane" in the Ordway Foyer throughout the weekend.  Treasures, artifacts and photos will be on display.  Yearbooks will be available for viewing and for sale.

Bethel Historical Society

"The Golden Age of the Gehring Clinic” new exhibit opens May 31.   From the website: This exhibit will tell the story of Dr. John George Gehring and his Bethel clinic. A pioneer in the treatment of what were then called "nervous disorders," Gehring developed an innovative regimen of mental and physical techniques in the era before Freudian theories were popularized in America. His practice brought a large number of prominent and interesting people to Bethel, including, most consequentially, William Bingham, 2nd, who became a benefactor for Gould Academy, and significantly shaped its development.  Read more here

Strategic Planning

Please also stop by the Sanborn Family Library anytime during the weekend to give input to Gould's strategic design committee. Information will be on display in the library with an opportunity to share your thoughts.  Learn more at gouldacademy.org/about/strategic-planning.

Important details about Registration and Gould Dorm Room Lodging

  • All reservations for dorm room lodging are first come, first serve.  Guests will need to bring bed linens (twin size), pillows, and towels for their use.
  • Rooms and room types are limited.
  • All dorm room guests must be 21 years of age or older and all dorms will be co-ed.
  • Dorm reservations are for 2-nights or 1-night  
  • Requests for specific dorms may be made at registration, but are not guaranteed.
  • Requests for specific roommates may be made at registration, please provide names of all roommates.
  • Young alum pricing is available for classes from 2017 to 2021.  
  • Pricing for children is for ages 5-12. Ages 4 and under are free.
