Each year during Alumni Weekend , Gould recognizes members of the community who’ve made a meaningful impact. From professional and civic achievements to outstanding volunteer service and athletic excellence, these awards honor the many ways Gould alumni and friends continue to lead lives of purpose.
The Athletic Hall of Fame celebrates exceptional contributions to Gould athletics by alumni and coaches.
If someone you know should be recognized, we invite you to submit a nomination. Award descriptions and past recipients are listed below.
Nominations are due by June 30 each year.

ALUMNI AWARDS & RECOGNITION
Athletic Hall of Fame
The Gould Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2007 to recognize the outstanding athletic achievements and contributions by Gould alumni and coaches. The AHOF Committee selects up to three Alumni each year based on a selective process overseen by a committee of alumni, friends of Gould athletics, and past/present coaches. There are now more than 80 members of the Hall of Fame.

Alumni Honors
The David F. Lombard Reunion Giving Awards
The David F. Lombard Reunion Giving Awards were introduced in 2023 to acknowledge remarkable acts of generosity displayed by Gould Academy alumni in their support of the institution and are named in honor of David F. Lombard '61. Mr. Lombard personifies the Gould giving spirit and served for many years as a leader in reunion giving.
The awards are announced during Alumni Weekend in the year corresponding to your eligibility. If your graduating class qualifies for an award (5, 10, 25, or 50 years), and you are interested in assisting with the recruitment of donors, please contact us at alumni@gouldacademy.org.
The Lombard Cup
This award is presented to any class who raises $50,000 in the twelve months preceding their 50th reunion.
The Lombard Plaque
These awards are presented to any class who raises the following amount of money in the twelve months preceding their reunion.
- 5 Year Reunion - $5,000
- 10 Year Reunion - $10,000
- 25 Year Reunion - $25,000
