  • Gould Legacy Award

    Learning and living at Gould has been a treasured tradition since 1836. Generations of alumni have benefited from the enriching experience of our dynamic community. The Gould Legacy Award is established to benefit children and grandchildren of Gould alumni who qualify for enrollment with $10,000 boarding and $5,000-day student awards.

  • Athletic Hall of Fame Awards

    The Gould Athletic Hall of Fame Award was started in 2007 to recognize the outstanding athletic achievements of  and contributions by Gould alumni and coaches.  The AHOF Committee selects up to three Alumni each year based on a selective process overseen by a committee comprised of alumni friends of Gould athletics and past/present Gould coaches. Recent recipients are: 

    2022 - Eileen Saunders Chretien ’67, Don Nowlin ’64, Omar Robinson ’93
    2021 - Amelia Brodka ’08, Terry Cunningham ’76, Coach Richard (Dick) Dohrman, In Memoriam

    The Gould Athletic Hall of Fame was started in 2007 to recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions in the area of athletics by Gould’s students and coaches. There are now 70 members of Gould's Athletic Hall of Fame. We inducted nine more award winners at Alumni Weekend 2022.
    Please consider joining the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee to help us decide on future honorees. The committee is made up of alumni and current/past Gould coaches.

  • Alumni Honors

    Each year Alumni Weekend is full of fun events including the Alumni Awards Ceremony. This includes the Athletic Hall of Fame and any other alumni honors. Not all awards are presented every year, only when it is appropriate to recognize an individual. We invite you to nominate someone who deserves special recognition.
     
    The Distinguished Alumnus/a Award
    This award is presented to a graduate who has demonstrated a lifetime of outstanding loyalty and service to Gould Academy, to their profession, or to their community over a long period of time. Recent past recipients:

    Michael S. Stowell Volunteer Award
    This award is presented to a person who has proven to be an exemplary and loyal volunteer to Gould Academy for many years. This person has gone above and beyond to support Gould and its mission and core values. Recent past recipients:

    Nathaniel Tuckerman True Award
    This award is presented to an alum or a member of the Gould community in recognition of their distinguished contributions to the local, state or global community through professional, civic, environmental or philanthropic activities. This award is Gould’s most prestigious award. Recent past recipients:

Gould is a small, co-ed, independent boarding school for grades 8-PG.  We are passionate about preparing academically motivated students for college, helping them to become independent-minded, ethical citizens who will lead lives of purpose, action, excellence, and compassion in a dynamic world.
