Gould Alpine camp — Les Deux Alpes, France
Gould Alpine U12/14 Fundamentals Camp
Enjoy 8 days on snow this Summer, June 19-30, 2027
Location: Les 2 Alpes
Coaching Staff: Michael Hirschbuhl - Alpine Youth Program Director/Head U14 Coach, Megan Ahearn - U16 Coach. Additional coaching staff TBA.
Our summer on-snow camp will place a strong emphasis on developing fundamental skills and movement patterns, the foundations of high-level skiing and fast racing. The timing of the camp gives athletes an ideal opportunity to introduce, develop, and refine these skills without the pressure of the race season. It also provides valuable mileage on new equipment as athletes move into longer skis or switch manufacturers.
Across eight days on snow, training will include directed and undirected free skiing, drill courses, traditional slalom and giant slalom training, and daily video analysis. Afternoons will feature a variety of dryland and recovery activities, including hiking, agility training, field sports, swimming, and more.
The group will stay in the village of Les Deux Alpes, within walking distance of the lifts and local amenities. Our lift tickets also provide access to a variety of afternoon activities around the resort. Located in the heart of the French Alps, Les Deux Alpes offers over 100 training lanes, 14 summer lifts, a vibrant international youth-training environment on the glacier, and a lively French resort village at its base. Together, these elements make the camp both a valuable athletic experience and an opportunity for athletes to experience a new culture and training environment. This camp is designed as a high-performance training camp, not an experiential travel program. Athletes should expect a demanding schedule of focused training both on and off the snow.
Eligibility: Open to second-year U12 athletes traveling with a parent, as well as U14 and rising U16 athletes. Birth years: 2016 with a parent, 2015, 2014, and 2013.
Limited to 20 athletes to ensure individualized coaching and a high-quality camp experience.
Cost: $3,000 plus airfare
