Nomination from Head Golf Coach Brian Gudolawicz ’06:

Our 1st September Husky of the Month award goes to Jacob Hybinette ’28!

On September 16th, the Gould Golf Team played a match against Kents Hill, the reigning MAISAD Champions of 2025. Kents Hill took an early lead in the match after the first two holes. Jacob bounced back to win the third hole, but the Kents Hill player continued with his strong opening push. The sixth hole, a par five with a difficult green, was the turning point of the match. Jacob tied the hole and from there, he came back and won the final three holes against his opponent, securing a tie and half a point for Gould. Turning a match around from being three holes down shows incredible confidence in your game and impressive skill. Jacob has also qualified for the Maine State Amateur Championship twice. He is a well-rounded and talented player.

Jacob, Congratulations on being our September Husky of the Month!

Nomination from Head Girls Soccer Coach Hannah Lepordo:

Our second September Husky of the Month award goes to Farley Ordway ’27!

Girls Soccer played Holderness this past Saturday, and Farley scored the first goal in the first ten minutes. It was a free kick basically from the halfway line. Anyone who attended the game knows it was an incredible goal that lit up the whole crowd and set the tone for the entire game. With Farley’s goal and the tone she set for the game, girls soccer ended up winning the first half against Holderness. This is huge, as we lost to Holderness 8–0 last year. She continues to show up, compete, and make an impact on the girls soccer team.

Farley, Congratulations on being our September Husky of the Month!
