The end of the school year will be here before you know it. At Gould, we have many end-of-year traditions that are both rites of passage and a way for faculty and students to celebrate their time together as it draws to a close. We are beyond grateful for the families that make up our community, and we're excited to welcome you to campus as we begin to say goodbye.
Whether your Gould student will be marching across the stage to accept their diploma at Commencement or is winding down the first year of their experience, Gould will always be a second home.

Senior shoutouts and late night snacks to follow for Seniors only
The Baccalaureate Dinner & Ceremony is open to any graduate's family and friends who wish to attend. A buffet dinner will be served in Ordway with outdoor seating (there will not be any indoor seating in an abundance of caution related to Covid). The class banner will be presented.
The ceremony will take place on Alumni field, rain, snow or shine - the traditional backdrop for their graduation, marking the same spot where they first arrived on campus and began their high school journey at Gould. All parents and families of graduates will have seats under the tent, others are welcome to sit on the lawn and bank outside the tent.
Boxed lunches will be available following the graduation ceremony on Saturday. We have found that many families have their own parties planned and may not be interested in eating on campus, while others who might be traveling need a meal, so our boxed lunches have been working well.
Generally, following the ceremony, seniors, their guests, and faculty linger on the field to connect, share memories, and say their goodbyes.
On Campus Events for Students and Staff
There will be additional events, celebrations, and performances hosted on campus for students and staff only. This schedule can be found here
In the 2022 yearbook, each senior will have 1/3 of a page with their name, their official school portrait, and an optional senior quote. But parents and other family members often add an additional page of pictures, memories, quotes, or words of praise and congratulations. These pages can be purchased here (best viewed on desktop not mobile) with a deadline of May 12th. More information about purchasing ads is here.
2022 Yearbook Opt-Out: If you do not want your student to receive the 2022 Yearbook, contact the business office.
By default, all current students will receive the 2022 Yearbook during the next school year, either by mail or on campus. This charge will be posted to your student account shortly. If you do not want your student to receive the 2022 Yearbook, contact the business office.
Underclass students may leave after their last commitment and no later than the morning of Friday, May 27, ideally, Thursday, May 26.
Graduating Seniors should plan to depart campus by 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28. Long-distance travelers who need an extended stay should contact their advisor and Marya Vincent.
