For students who love skiing and want to share that passion with others, Gould’s Ski Instructor Program offers a unique opportunity to train alongside professionals and become a certified ski or snowboard instructor — while still in high school.

WHERE LEADERSHIP TAKES SHAPE

In partnership with Sunday River’s SnowSports School, Gould students gain real-world teaching experience by instructing local elementary school children on the slopes.  With the guidance of Gould coaches and Sunday River mentors, students learn to lead lessons, manage groups, and adapt their instruction to a wide range of student abilities.

Communication & Leadership

Gould students learn how to communicate professionally, with clarity and purpose while inspiring confidence in those around them.

Accredited Certification

Through our partnership with Sunday River, students gain nationally recognized certification that opens doors to on-mountain employment and future coaching opportunities.

Real-World Experience

More than a ski & ride class, Gould students gain real experience with actual elementary school kids — completing the program with transferable skills and life-long memories.

 

A LAUNCHPAD FOR WHAT’S NEXT

As skills grow and certification is completed, students may even qualify to work for Sunday River on weekends — giving them professional experience, a resume credential, and memories that last long after winter ends.
