Gould is more than a traditional college prep school
Our students are actively involved in shaping their own education, taking advantage of opportunities that extend learning beyond the classroom and onto the stage, into the field, rivers, mountains, communities, and the world. We think of choice as something additive; Gould students don’t choose this or that, they choose this AND that.
At Gould, we understand that each student is different.

One Student at a Time
Our small size, dedicated faculty, and approach to teaching and learning allow us to meet students along their individual continuum of academic and social development.
Gould just wrapped up Wellbeing Week; students discussed the use of substances and their impacts on development, relationships, consent, identity, and gender and how being a part of Gould’s community requires respect and affirmation of all people. Classes will continue this work throughout the year. Thank you guest speakers! OUT Maine and Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation
[Gould] is moving in new and innovative directions; the IDEAS Center and the design-thinking curriculum are an amazing asset for the school.

I knew that if I wanted to make moves for my skiing and for academics that Gould would be the right place. Gould was the perfect balance between academics and training.

People are kind here, and thinking back, the Gould community has fostered my appreciation towards my school, my life, and the people around me.
