Join Us for the Fourth Annual Gould Academy Golf Tournament
This July, the Gould community heads to Wentworth By The Sea Country Club — one of New England's most storied golf destinations, often called the "Pebble Beach of the East" — for our fourth annual Golf Tournament on July 20, 2026.
Golf registration includes lunch, 18 holes in a scramble format, and an after-golf reception with a BBQ dinner. Not a golfer? You can still be part of the day by attending the reception or purchasing a Gould golf raffle ticket.
We'd love to see you there. Last day for team registration is July 3rd.
Alumni Weekend
September 25–27, 2026
We can't wait to welcome you home to Gould! Join us for a weekend full of old friends, familiar places, and memories in the making.
This year we're especially excited to celebrate classes ending in 1s, 2s, 6s & 7s — but all alumni are welcome.
The weekend kicks off Friday evening with dinner and dancing under the tent, followed by a full day of events on Saturday including Alumni Assembly, Brunch, and the Parade of Classes. Saturday evening, classes head out for their own gatherings around Bethel. Sunday wraps up with a 5K Fun Run, Art & Mimosas in the gallery, and a Farewell Brunch.
Early Bird pricing is available through September 1 — save $10 on every registration option.

Why Are There Still So Few Women in STEM?
Gould may have the antidote. In her widely regarded 2013 New York Times essay, writer Eileen Pollack explored why so many talented women leave STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) pathways, even after excelling academically. Her conclusion was that the biggest barrier is not aptitude, but expectation. A lack of encouragement and mentorship driven by bias and outdated stereotypes shapes outcomes long before careers begin.

Following an intense student-led application and vetting process, the Gould Engineering Team has been accepted to compete in NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC), an international competition that asks students to design, build, and operate a rover capable of navigating terrain inspired by planetary exploration.
