Four Gould Snowboarders Nominated to 2025–26 U.S. Snowboard Pro Team

Gould Academy is proud to announce that four of our very own riders have been nominated to the 2025–26 Hydro Flask U.S. Snowboard Pro Team in the discipline of Snowboard Cross, as released by U.S. Ski & Snowboard on May 15.
Hanna Percy ’25, a current student-athlete at Gould Academy, was newly named to the Pro Team for Snowboard Cross. She is joined by alumni Nathan Pare ’23, who earned a promotion to the Pro Team, along with fellow alum nominees Tyler Hamel ’22 and Bri Schnorrbusch ’24—all recognized in the Snowboard Cross discipline.

Nominations are based on a combination of objective performance results and coach discretion, including FIS World Rankings, World Cup and NorAm finishes, and demonstrated potential for future international success. Each of these athletes met those standards through consistent competition, resilience, and a deep commitment to the sport.

This recognition reflects not only their achievements on snow, but also the training, focus, and community they’ve built at Gould. These riders represent the strength of our snowboarding program and the spirit of hard work that defines our school.

“We are incredibly proud to recognize four standout athletes who continue to push the boundaries of Snowboard Cross (SBX) and elevate snowboarding as a whole. Through their relentless work ethic, commitment, and passion, these athletes have rightfully earned their spots among the sport’s top competitors.

The Gould Academy Snowboarding team has built remarkable momentum in SBX, and these individuals have been instrumental in charting a new course for the program’s future. Their achievements reflect personal excellence and the strength and direction of our broader SBX team culture.

Congratulations to each of you on this well-earned accomplishment—we are proud beyond words.” – Coach Yamada, Snowboard & Ski Cross Program Director

The 2025–26 U.S. Snowboard Team roster will be finalized in the fall, pending athlete acceptance and compliance with team protocols.

Congratulations to Hanna, Nathan, Tyler, and Bri on this outstanding achievement. We’re proud to see your hard work and dedication recognized nationally. We celebrate this moment with you and wish you continued success in the season ahead!
