Gould’s Varsity Baseball Team is known for giving teams a run for their money with undefeated regular seasons and MAISAD league championships. It’s not uncommon for one or two of our players to be named to the all-state teams each year.

In season our players practice five days a week, playing games against schools within the MAISAD league throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Dedicated coaches work with team members on building strong fundamentals and a solid understanding of sportsmanship. With the help of the Athletic Director and College Counseling, coaches also help those students who want to play in college form a plan for in-season and offseason training.

During the offseason, many of our players can be found in the Farnsworth Field House weight room, batting cage, or in groups pitching and catching. Our full-time athletic trainer keeps players in shape through specific weightlifting and conditioning programs. We are also one of the host schools for the Bethel American Legion team, giving our players the opportunity to play hard through the summer in a competitive American Legion program.
